Our accreditation assures programs meet standards to produce graduates who are ready to enter fields with the tools and knowledge to succeed. We rely on more than 830 committee members from academia, and specific industries to participate in our comittee-review process that assures confidence in the programs we accredit to our students. At AHEC, our standards for our partners and students inspire change for higher standards within the industry.

AHEC focuses on the students and the quality of the education they receive by ensuring their certificate/certification program is reviewed by industry and academic experts. All of our partners must meet the committee requirements.

What is Accreditation

Accreditation is when a credentialing or educational program is evaluated against specific standards and is recognized if it complies with those standards.

Why Accreditation Matters

“Accreditation” reviews the quality of programs provided by industry experts. Accreditation is a significant way for students to know that the program offers a quality education that gives them the skills necessary to complete an industry specific job.
