AHEC only accredites programs that have met the strict scope requirements outlined to guarantee our students have the skills and tools necessary to complete industry specific careers. 

Our seal of accreditation ensures our students receive higher education to excel in their career.

2. View program requirements before becoming a partner. Application fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. Your program must meet the committee standards of higher education. 
3. Register as a partner.

*FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Denied Programs MUST submit a new application fee for re-consideration.  

Organizations (Partners) are not approved to issue certificates on behalf of AHEC. 

Students can order a gold-stamped seal of accreditation certificate/certification via mail along with a copy of their transcript. In addition, all students will have access to a FREE digital copy of their transcript and certificate/certification. 

1. Apply to become a partner by contacting a partner representative. 

2. Once approved, submit the required program application found on the partner page to your partner representative. 

3. Pay partner fees

4. Make sure your application is submitted before the deadline. You can view committee meetings and deadlines under the schedule tab.

Understand Application Status:

Approved: The submitted program was approved for accreditation. 

Denied: The application submitted does not meet the committee's standards. 

Pending: The application is pending approval. You will receive notification via email. 

Extended Time is Needed: The committee needs more time to review the application. Please check the update status after the next committee meeting.
